Job summary

The Salvation Army in Lewisville, TX is seeking a part-time Store Associate to assist customers, stock and display merchandise, and help with donations.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, processing sales, maintaining clean displays, and answering phones. A High School diploma or GED is preferred, with retail experience valued. This is a part-time role with benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
• Retail store experience preferred or any equivalent training/experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

• Assists store customers in selecting and purchasing items.
• Stock, arrange, and display furniture, bric-a-brac, books, clothes, and other similar products; rotate and/or rearrange stock as needed; return items to the proper location.
• Perform routine security activities while observing customers shopping in the store.
• May assist with moving donations to the storage area; prepare and provide donation receipts.
• Perform various cleaning activities, including but not limited to clean display racks, shelves, windows, mirrors, storage area; sweep and mop floors; clean other areas as needed.
• Answer the store telephone in a tactful and courteous manner.
