About the Role

As a Cashier, you play an essential role in the customer service experience by providing customers with fast and friendly service. You will process transactions, answer questions, and ensure customers leave feeling positive about their visit.

Responsibilities

• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including identification verification, payment handling, answering inquiries, promoting the loyalty program, and bagging products.
• Deliver exceptional service and a personalized experience by greeting customers, engaging to build relationships, and informing about products and services.
• Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge.
• Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness standards across the store.
• Ensure adherence to all applicable laws and regulations related to the sale of alcohol and maintain a safe and compliant store environment.
• Complete cross‑functional responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
• Work a flexible schedule as business requires, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• 1–3 years of work experience, with 1+ year of experience in a retail setting preferred.
• Passion for best‑in‑class customer service and a team‑player mindset.
• Familiarity with point‑of‑sale systems and inventory management software.
• Physical ability to walk, bend down repeatedly, be on feet for 8–10 hours a day, safely lift and handle cases and pallets, climb ladders, and lift 50 lbs. overhead repeatedly.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires, including evenings and weekends.

Employment Information
