Total Wine & More in Charlotte, NC is hiring a Cashier to provide fast, friendly service and process transactions accurately. You will answer questions, promote the loyalty program, and help create a positive shopping experience.

Qualified candidates have 1–3 years in retail, familiarity with POS systems, and a team-oriented mindset. The role requires flexibility, including evenings and weekends, and compliance with alcohol sale laws.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory-management software.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires, including evenings and weekends.

About the role

As a Cashier, you play an essential role in the customer service experience by providing customers with fast and friendly service. You will process transactions, answer questions, and ensure customers leave feeling positive about their visit.

• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including identification verification, payment handling, answering inquiries, promoting the loyalty program, and bagging product.

Physical Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Walk, bend down repeatedly, and be on feet for 8–10 hours a day.
• Ability to safely lift, load, and handle cases and pallets; climb ladders and lift 50 lbs. overhead repeatedly.
• May be exposed to various outdoor weather conditions throughout the workday.

Employment Options

If this posting is coded as a seasonal role, the position would be short‑term, no longer than six months, with the option to apply for a non‑seasonal role. Worker Type: Regular. Pay Range: $13.75 – $19.25 hourly.
