Job summary

Goodwill Industries is hiring a Cashier to greet customers, operate the POS accurately, and help maintain a clean, organized sales floor in a busy retail environment.

You will respond to phone calls with friendly service, participate in the Change Round Up program, assist in training new team members, and support a consistent weekly schedule with strong benefits including PTO, Teladoc, and 401K options.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior experience in a retail environment is preferred.
• Six months of cash handling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome customers with enthusiasm.
• Operate the POS to ensure accurate and efficient sales data, price, and information codes on merchandise.
• Welcome customers to participate in a Change Round Up to the nearest dollar to further support our missions.
• Respond to phone calls while offering world-class customer service.

• Maintain a clean, neat, organized, and safe sales floor and return all unsold merchandise to the floor.
