Job summary

Vision Ace Hardware is seeking friendly cashiers to provide helpful service to customers. The role focuses on accurate transactions, returns processing, and promoting Ace Rewards during every visit.

Candidates must be available to work at least one weekend day, with 16–28 hours per week. Benefits include a 401(k) plan and matching after 90 days of employment.

Cashiers exemplify the foundation of our service to each customer as they enter and leave our store.

Cashier responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Operate cash register (POS) with accuracy and efficiency.
• Handle merchandise returns and exchanges quickly and efficiently.
• Ask each customer for their Ace Rewards card or be able to explain the program and invite them to join.
• Count the cash drawer to verify accuracy before each shift, and balance the drawer at the end of the shift, documenting checks, cash, and credit cards.
• Address customer complaints in a positive manner and involve store management when necessary.
