Job summary

Monadnock Food Co-op in Keene, NH is seeking a friendly Cashier to be the welcoming face at the front end. You’ll connect with neighbors, assist with purchases, and help tell the story of locally sourced foods.

This part-time role offers 20–30 hours weekly with a starting pay of $17.00 per hour, plus benefits for eligible hours. You’ll join a community-focused team dedicated to supporting local farms and the co-op’s mission.

Qualifications

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service.
• Accurate cash handling and point-of-sale operations.
• Flexible schedule including Fridays, Sundays, Mondays and peak retail times.

Responsibilities

You’ll be the friendly face at the front end, welcoming neighbors and supporting our local food system with every purchase. From the freshest seasonal produce straight from nearby farms to the artisanal goods made with love, you'll help share the story behind the food. The purpose of this position is to provide prompt, friendly, courteous customer service, and accurate cash handling. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation.
