Job summary

Altus ACE Hardware is seeking an enthusiastic cashier to support daily operations and provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will greet customers, assist with product location, and manage promotions and events. The role requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays, with attention to detail in transactions and stocking.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience and courteous interaction with shoppers.
• Cashier experience or comfort handling transactions.
• Professional telephone skills for in-store and calls.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in transactions and stocking.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Knowledge of store merchandise to assist customers.

Responsibilities

• Run POS register and handle sales, returns, and exchanges.
• Greet customers and assist with finding products and promotions.
• Answer questions and provide excellent customer service to all shoppers.
• Keep up with promotions, events, and aisle signage.
• Maintain store layout, stock impulse and endcap merchandise, and clean area.
• Open and close store following procedures; assist with freight check-in.
