Qualifications

Job description

Job Purpose:

Operates point of sale system and provides service to team members

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

(Note: Duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted, or changed at the sole discretion of Sycuan Management at any time)

Provides team members with servicebyacknowledging and welcoming team members entering the team member dining area, offering appropriate menu and pricing information, providing requested assistance, promptly entering information into the point of sale system, and collecting and processing payment and returning change if applicable following established procedures. -75 %

Provides accounting of transactions during shiftby entering cash transactions in to point of sale system, counting currency, logging team member discounts on to cashier drop work sheet, balancing money drawer against generated cashier report following established procedures, and reporting discrepancies to the food services management team. - 10%

Ensures team member dining stations are stocked and clean by completing and submitting supply requisitions, placing delivered water, food and supplies, cups and condiments in designated areas, and cleaning coffee machines, soda machines, sinks, shelves, and counters according to established procedures. -10%

Maintains safe and sanitary dining areas by cleaning surface areas, picking up used plates, cups and utensils, disposing of trash and wiping down tables. -5%

Essential:

• County of San Diego Food Handler Card

Desirable:

• High School Diploma, High School Certificate of Completion, or G.E.D.
• Guest or Hospitality Service experience
• Concession experience
