Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company (BGC) is seeking a diligent store office associate to process customer transactions, assist with cash handling, and support cashiers in a fast-paced retail store. You will ensure accurate money handling, deposits, and adherence to tender policies under supervision.

Minimum age 16, with 21+ for driving duties where applicable. Required AML, HIPAA, and alcohol/tobacco licensing certifications; on‑the‑job training is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience with cash handling and basic arithmetic, accuracy in money handling.
• Familiarity with tender policies and procedures and relevant state laws.
• Compliance with AML and other monetary transaction regulations.

Responsibilities

• Process store office transactions and customer payments.
• Assist cashiers, order office supplies, and answer phones.
• Maintain accurate cash drawer, deposits, and financial records.
• Balance drawers and report discrepancies to management.
