Job summary

Dollar General is seeking an associate to act as the point of contact for customers and to maintain plan-o-grams and displays. You will stock merchandise, greet customers, and assist with checkout while supporting store profitability and teamwork.

Responsibilities include unloading trucks, stocking shelves, building displays, and maintaining a clean, welcoming store environment. Strong math, communication, and basic cash handling skills are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Basic cash handling knowledge.
• Ability to read and follow plan-o-gram and merchandise presentation guidance.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and stock merchandise in the store.
• Build and display merchandise, rotate and face shelves.
• Assist customers in locating items and respond to needs.
• Operate cash register and scan items, total purchase and bag merchandise.
• Collect payment and give correct change.
• Assist with ordering using scanners when needed.
