Job summary

Jubitz-Corporation in Portland, OR is seeking a friendly retail associate to support cashier duties, stocking, and food service prep in our busy convenience store.

You will operate the POS, assist customers, keep the store clean, and follow safety and sanitation policies. Weekend availability is required, with Saturday and Sunday shifts, 7:00am to 3:30pm. Previous cash handling and customer service experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year of cash-handling experience preferred.
• Must be able to obtain Oregon Food Handler’s Certificate within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to multitask while maintaining composure and a positive attitude.
• Maintain punctual, regular and predictable attendance.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to operate cash register and count change accurately.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with fuel purchases.
• Operate the point-of-sale system and handle cash transactions accurately.
• Monitor fuel levels and arrange refills as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Complete daily cash reports and assist with inventory management.
• Comply with safety regulations and procedures.

Description

Responsible for performing various retail functions within the convenience store, including cashier duties, stocking inventory, general cleaning, and assisting with food service preparation. Adheres to company policies regarding sanitation, safety, and food handling to ensure a clean and safe environment for both customers and staff.

• Wage: $17.75 - $18.75
• Schedule: Weekend Days(Saturday & Sunday, 7:00am - 3:30pm)
• Work Status: Part-Time
• Location: Portland
