Goodwill Industries of the Southern Piedmont in Lincolnton, NC is seeking friendly retail associates to join our store team and serve customers with a smile. This entry-level role provides training and a pathway to growth within a mission-driven organization.

You’ll ring sales, greet donors, stock the floor, sort donations, and maintain a clean, safe shopping environment. This fast-paced retail position emphasizes teamwork and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, efficient customer service at the register and handle payments.

• Maintain a clean, safe shopping environment including dressing rooms and work areas.
• Greet donors, accept donations, and issue receipts.
• Support donation door operations and sorting/hanger tasks as needed.
• Report safety, security, or theft concerns to store management.
• Help with other duties to support a strong team environment.

What You’ll Do

• Provide friendly, efficient customer service at the register—ring sales, handle payments, bag merchandise, and thank customers.
• Keep the sales floor stocked and organized: move clothing from the backroom, merchandise clothing by type/color, and ensure racks are tidy and rotated.
• Maintain a clean, safe shopping environment including dressing rooms and work areas.
• Greet donors, accept donations, and issue receipts.
• Support donation door operations and perform sorting/hanger tasks as needed.
• Report any safety, security, or theft concerns to store management.
• Help with other duties as assigned to support a strong team environment.
