Job summary

Goodwill Industries of the Southern Piedmont is looking for a storefront associate in Cornelius, NC. You will provide friendly customer service at the register, ring sales, handle payments, and bag merchandise while ensuring customers leave satisfied.

You will also keep the sales floor organized, assist with donations, maintain a clean store environment, and participate in teamwork with colleagues. No prior experience required; willingness to learn and grow is valued.

Qualifications

• Cash handling experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, efficient customer service at the register—ring sales, handle payments, bag merchandise, and thank customers.
• Keep the sales floor stocked and organized: move clothing from the backroom, merchandise clothing by type/color, and ensure racks are tidy and rotated.
• Maintain a clean, safe shopping environment including dressing rooms and work areas.
• Greet donors, accept donations, and issue receipts.
• Support donation door operations and perform sorting/hanger tasks as needed.
• Report safety, security, or theft concerns to store management.
• Help with other duties as assigned to support a strong team environment.
