Job Responsibilities

Accurately operate a register/POS and handle cash and credit card transactions.

Greet and assist customers while delivering excellent customer service and anticipating their needs.

Schedule and delegate work assignments to team members and coordinate the completion of tasks.

Train and guide staff members in customer service, cash handling, product knowledge, and other application processes and procedures.

Make change for all cashiers and verify bag deposits.

Count, organize, and balance the cash drawer, fill out cashier slips, and make deposits.

Adhere to Aramark’s cash handling policies and procedures.

Follow opening and closing procedures based on operating hours.

Ensure products are stocked to appropriate levels, replenishing and arranging items as needed to maintain inventory.

Assist in cleaning and sanitation during operating hours and at the end of service.

Develop new skills and contribute positively to the team, with the understanding that job duties may evolve without prior notice.

Qualifications

Basic math and counting skills required.

Experience in a supervisory or related role preferred.

Ability to work independently with limited supervision.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

Compliance with dress code and workplace policies.

Completion of Food Handling and alcohol service training as required.

Physical demands may include lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, extended walking, and standing. Uniforms and PPE may be required.
