Taziki's Mediterranean Cafe is hiring in Birmingham for a guest-focused team member. You’ll welcome guests, take orders, deliver meals, and ensure accurate payments while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and service.

No prior experience is required; we will train you. A flexible schedule and daily meals on shift make this a great place to start or grow your hospitality career.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Experience preferred but not required; we will train you.
• Energetic, eager to learn, and loves fresh food.
• Strong communication and hospitality skills.
• Fast-paced environment requires passion and urgency.
• Ability to work independently and with the team as needed.
• Flexible schedule availability and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Be a Taziki’s Ambassador to guests, sharing our story and culture.
• Take orders and deliver them to dining or pickup areas.
• Understand and use the POS system accurately.
• Follow cash handling and payment procedures.
• Maintain Health Department standards throughout shifts.
• Adhere to Alcohol Handling policies and procedures.
• Perform opening and closing duties as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Being a Taziki’s Ambassador to guests for our service, our menu, our story, and our culture


• Placing orders for guests and delivering them to our dining or pickup areas


• Understanding and using POS (point of sale register)


• Following proper cash handling and payment procedures


• Maintaining Health Department Standards throughout each shift


• Following proper Alcohol Handling policies and procedures


• Performing shift-side work including opening and closing duties

Your Working Conditions/ Hours:

A typical work day at Taziki’s may look like:

• Morning shift - 9am - 4pm


• Evenings - 4pm - 10pm


• Weekends- when applicable

Holidays - when applicable (CLOSED Thanksgiving & Christmas)

• Hours will vary by store.

Your Physical Requirements:
