Job summary

TravelCenters of America is hiring a Cashier II to join our team in a fast-paced convenience store environment. You will handle POS transactions, keep the service area clean and well-stocked, and assist with receiving and stocking products on planograms.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of cashier experience and solid POS knowledge, with merchandising/stocking experience preferred. Flexible hours including nights, weekends, and some holidays are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of cashier experience preferred.
• Computer/POS knowledge is required.
• Merchandising/stocking experience preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Process transactions on a POS register and maintain a clean, stocked area.
• Assist with receiving product and stocking merchandise on planograms.
• Assist training of lower-level cashiers on duties and responsibilities.
• Prioritize work according to store and management needs.
• Follow safety guidelines and report unsafe situations.
• Establish communication with leaders and co-workers.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
