Job summary

TravelCenters of America in El Paso is seeking a friendly Cashier II to join our store team. You will greet guests, process transactions on the POS register, and maintain a clean, well-stocked food and beverage area.

You'll assist with receiving product, stock merchandise on planograms, and help train newer cashiers. This role requires a reliable team player who can work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and some holidays.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of cashier experience preferred
• Computer/POS knowledge required
• Merchandising/stocking experience preferred
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and some holidays

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to guests
• Process transactions on a POS register
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked food and beverage area
• Assist with receiving product and unloading shipments
• Stock and organize merchandise on planograms
• Assist with training lower-level cashiers
• Prioritize work according to store and management needs
• Follow safety guidelines and report unsafe situations
• Establish strong communication with leaders and co-workers
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned
