Job summary

Brookshire Brothers in Hudson is seeking a cashier to assist customers and process transactions at the register. The position emphasizes friendly, efficient service, accurate cash handling, and following store policies.

Employees will be trained by the store; lifting up to 50 pounds and other physical requirements are part of the role. Candidates should be prepared to work additional shifts as needed and perform other duties as assigned by management.

• Be willing and able to work additional shifts other than what is posted on weekly schedule.
• Be willing and able to perform other duties as assigned such as general cleaning, custodial duties, and other activities as directed by management.

Summary: Cashiers scan merchandise for the customer in order to get a total cost for their items purchased and conduct an exchange of money (or other acceptable substitutions) for the cost of that customer's merchandise.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE - The store will provide all necessary training. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. All other physical requirements will be discussed during the interview process.
