Prairie Band Casino & Resort in Mayetta, KS seeks a part-time Food & Beverage team member to greet guests, handle payments, and prepare items from standardized recipes. You will balance cash, record tips, and assist in various outlets as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 17 years of age.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Greet and ring customer checks on cash register, handle payment and give correct change.
• Maintain balance of cash register and restaurant checks.
• Record tips from credit card and comps charges.
• Address customer concerns; seek supervisor intervention as appropriate.
• Prepare all food items from standardized recipe as needed in assigned outlets.
• Perform cleaning duties as required.
• Adhere to regulatory, departmental and company policies ethically.
• Perform duties of Club Premier Service Host, Food Server, Steward, Server Assistant, Coffee Bar Attendant or Cook as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND Responsibilities:

• Greets and rings all customer checks on cash register, handles payment and accurately gives change back to customer
• Accurately maintains balance of cash register and restaurant checks
• Records all tips collected from credit card and comps charges
• Handles and solves any concerns and questions from customers; seeks supervisor intervention as appropriate
• Prepares all food items from standardized recipe, as needed, while working in assigned outlets
• Performs cleaning duties as required and/or assigned
• Adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies in an ethical manner and encourages others to do the same
• Performs the duties of a Club Premier Service Host, Food Server, Steward, Server Assistant, Coffee Bar Attendant or Cook as needed in assigned outlets
• Other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:

Required

• Must be 17 years of age
• Mus t possess a pleasant personality
• Professional appearance as outlined in the Prairie Band Casino & Resort Team Member Handbook
• Must be able to work both independently and as a member of a team
• A record of satisfactory performance and reliability in all prior and current employment

Preferred

• Prior cash handling and cash register experience
• High school diploma or GED
