Job summary

Prairie Band Casino & Resort seeks a dedicated VIP Relations professional to manage relationships with a select group of VIP players. You will identify, develop, and maintain VIP gaming customers, driving incremental trips, business relationships, and revenue growth.

Responsibilities include tracking player activity, tailoring rewards, and communicating promotions and events across telesales, in-person, and digital channels while collaborating with marketing and hospitality teams to deliver

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1 year in gaming operations, outside sales, telemarketing, service/hospitality or equivalent.
  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Windows software.

Responsibilities

  • Track VIP player activity, preferences, and spending to tailor rewards.
  • Communicate with VIP players through telesales, in-person and digital channels to educate on services and events.
  • Manage hotel occupancy to maximize revenue per rated room.

Description

Prairie Band Casino & Resort offers an attractive benefits package including medical (casino pays over 70% of premiums), Dental (casino pays 79% of premiums), and Vision. Prairie Band also pays 100% of short-term and long-term disability and life insurance of $15,000 for all Team Members.

Own all aspects of strategic relationships with a specific group of VIP players. Will assist in the identification, development and maintenance of VIP and potential VIP gaming customers with an emphasis in driving incremental trips, building business relationships and increasing revenue.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND Responsibilities:
  • Track player activity, preferences and spending patterns to offer tailored rewards and ensure optimal service
  • Stay informed about competitors, industry trends and market opportunities to enhance VIP offerings
  • Responsible for communicating with VIP players through telesales, in-person and gaming floor contact, text, email correspondence and mailings to educate customers about available services, promotional opportunities and special events
  • Manage the hotel occupancy to maximize revenue per rated room, including greeting expected arrivals and expediting room assignments
  • Responsible for maintaining strict confidentiality relative to financial data, casino policies, customer information and marketing programs
  • Work closely with marketing, gaming and hospitality departments to deliver seamless VIP experiences
  • Receives and responds to guest enquiries while off-property in a timely manner
  • Identify and recruit potential VIP guests in table games pit and slot areas
  • Convey terms and details of casino programs and explain qualifications and requirements to prospective gaming guests
  • Able to resolve guest's problems/conflicts in a tactful manner so that both the guest and the casino are pleased with the outcome
  • Attend on and off property promotions and events as a representative of Prairie Band Casino & Resort
  • Responsible for adhering to regulatory, departmental, and company policies in an ethical manner and encourages others to do the same
  • Assist other departments as business demands, as needed or as assigned
  • Other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:
Required
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1 year in gaming operations, outside sales, telemarketing, service/hospitality or equivalent combination of education and related experience
  • Must be 21 years of age
  • Must enjoy being with people and have the ability to make each guest feel special
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be proficient in all basic Windows Software
  • A record of satisfactory performance and reliability in all prior and current employment
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule which may include various shifts, weekends, and holidays
Preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance or related field
PHYSICAL, MENTAL, AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
  • Must be able to maneuver to all area of the casino, including in and around Pit areas, with reasonable accommodations
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, reach, kneel and grip items when necessary
  • Must be able to respond calmly and make rational decisions when handling guest demands in a fast pace environment
  • Must be able to work in areas containing high noise levels and secondary smoke
  • Must be able to read, write, and understand English
