Job Title: Cashier / Host

Our franchise organization, V and M Food Enterprises, LLC dba Golden Corral, is currently seeking energetic, friendly individuals to join our team!

Job Overview: The Cashier / Host plays a crucial role in creating positive guest experiences during entry and exit, which significantly influence repeat visits.

Responsibilities:

1. Guest Service:

• Greet guests warmly as they enter and invite them to return.
• Assist guests as needed.
• Process To-Go orders efficiently.
• Maintain courteous communication on the phone.
• Handle payments accurately.
• Understand and execute position responsibilities for timely service.
• Be knowledgeable about menu items, buffet offerings, and prices.

Cleanliness:

• Keep the vestibule, host/cashier station, and surrounding areas organized and clean.
• Assist in setting up and cleaning buffets, ensuring labels are correct.
• Adhere to local health regulations.
• Follow duty roster and uphold cleanliness, service, and quality standards.

Operational Excellence:

• Notify management when cash needs to be deposited to minimize theft risk.
• Ensure cash drawer balances with daily reports.
