The main responsibility of a Big Boy Greeter/Cashier is to extend exceptional hospitality by providing prompt, courteous service to each of our guests. As a Greeter, you are the first person our guests see; you set the tone for their dining experience. As a Cashier, you are the last person our guests see; you provide a lasting impression of their dining experience.

Responsibilities:

• Provides fantastic first impressions and sets the tone for each guest’s dining experience.
• Seats guests promptly, following the seating rotation schedule, introducing new menu items and informing our guests of soups and specials.
• Answers guest questions and assists with any additional needs, such as child booster chairs.
• Takes and processes carry-out orders placed by guests inside the dining room or on the telephone.
• Assists the service team by preparing beverages, salads, and desserts as needed.
• Maintains safety and sanitation standards in the restaurant and keeps the dining area sparkling clean.
• Provides lasting impressions for our guests while cashing out transactions by thanking every guest and inviting them to return.
• Maintains a professional appearance, adhering to uniform standards at all times.

Job Skills:

• Able to remain on your feet for long periods of time.
• Bending, reaching, and climbing stairs.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Sufficient strength and agility to lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
• The ability to read and write English and follow recipes accurately.
• Good mobility of fingers, hands, wrists, and elbows.
• Good hearing, visual, and English speaking skills.
• Able to work with a wide variety of foods and ingredients.
• Good memory, math, and organizational skills.
