Cashiers are the first point of contact for our guests and are directly responsible for delivering a great experience. You will take and enter orders, handle payments, keep the dining room and other guest areas clean, and provide excellent service to our guests by following standard operating procedures with a sense of urgency.

Duties and Responsibilities
The individual in this position is expected to engage in various work-related activities, which may occur inside or outside the restaurant, including:
- Complete all training requirements including the Zaxbys Front of House Development Plan, hands-on stations training, and any additional training required by Zax LLC.
- Provide friendly, enthusiastic service for all guests, including greeting and thanking them, explaining menu items, and answering questions.
- Accurately complete orders and guest transactions, operate cash registers, handle payments, and maintain receipts.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment, including cleaning guest areas, maintaining equipment, and stocking supplies.
- Prepare menu items according to company standards, ensuring safety and sanitation.
- Assist with kitchen and back of house tasks as assigned.
- Complete all tasks with a sense of urgency, work safely, and follow all safety guidelines and procedures.
Job Qualifications
Must meet the following requirements:
- Be at least 16 years old.
- Be able to work 32 to 40 hours per week.

- Sit, stand, and walk continuously.
- Occasionally stoop, bend, crouch, or climb, including the use of ladders.
- Frequently lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds, including lifting overhead.
- Use hands and wrists for grasping and fine manipulation.
- Communicate effectively through speech, reading, and writing.
- Maintain effective audio-visual perception and judgment.
- Work in environments with temperature variations and allergens.
- Operate restaurant equipment safely.
