Goodwill Industries-Manasota, Inc. (comprising Goodwill Manasota and Goodwill Palm Beaches & Treasure Coast), a nonprofit focused on Changing Lives Through the Power of Work, is hiring a Cashier.

As a Cashier, you will greet customers, operate the POS to scan and price items, promote Change Round Up, respond to calls with excellent service, help train new team members, and keep the sales floor clean, organized, and safe while returning unsold merchandise to the floor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior retail experience preferred.
• Six months of cash handling experience preferred.
• Must be willing and able to work days, evenings, and weekends.
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation.

Responsabilités

• Greet and welcome customers with enthusiasm.
• Operate the POS to ensure accurate and efficient sales data, price, and information codes on merchandise.
• Welcome customers to participate in a Change Round Up to the nearest dollar to further support our missions.
• Respond to phone calls while offering world-class customer service.
• Assist in the training of new team members and cashiers.
• Maintain a clean, neat, organized, and safe sales floor and return all unsold merchandise to the floor.

As a Cashier, you will:
