+ We are hiring immediately for a full-time CASHIER position.

+ Location: Advent Health Bolingbrook - 500 Remington Boulevard, Bolingbrook, IL 60440. Note: online applications accepted only.

+ Schedule: Full-time; 40 hours a week. Days and hours may vary; open availability preferred. Rotating weekends and holidays included. More details upon interview.

+ Requirement: Previous customer service experience required. Cash handling experience preferred.

+ Pay Rate: $17.50 per hour

Job Summary

Performs cashier duties including cash transactions, verifying cash drawer, giving change, and completing cash reports. May also perform general food service work. Maintains sanitation standards in all areas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Process sales transactions efficiently.
2. Accurately record all sales in the cash register.
3. Make change, accept various payment methods, and issue receipts.
4. Follow procedures for cash refunds.
5. Interact with customers professionally, resolving complaints amicably.
6. Manage all assigned change funds and cash receipts, ensuring compliance with standards.
7. Monitor customer purchases and differentiate portions as needed.
8. Replenish supplies and maintain cleanliness of service areas.
9. Stock pastry cases and ensure inventory accuracy.
10. Comply with service standards, inventory, and cash control procedures.
11. Adhere to sanitation, ServSafe, and safety standards.
12. Perform additional duties as assigned.
