Responsibilities include stocking and merchandising, training new team members, and supporting supervision in managing customer flow.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Patience in dealing with customers and Team Members.
• Proficiency with Cashier Code Book and PLUs.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Strong to excellent communication and teamwork.
• Ability to follow directions and manage time.

Responsibilities

• Checks out customer groceries efficiently and accurately.
• Upholds regulations concerning sale of alcohol and taxation.
• Follows proper check, ATM, and credit procedures.
• Uses proper tares procedures when ringing up scalable items.
• Cleans and stocks Front End areas and register.
• Follows cash handling procedures and cashier variance policy.
• May assist with training of new Cashier Team Members.
• Assists supervisor in managing customer flow and lines.
• Participates in company programs as directed by leadership.
• Arrives on time and ready to work; attends required trainings.
• Provides excellent customer service and uses suggestive selling; answers phones promptly.
• Maximizes sales through proper prep, storage, rotation, stocking, merchandising.
• Follows health, sanitation, and safety procedures.
