Job summary

Fresh Thyme Farmers Market is hiring a Cashier to efficiently process customer sales at the front registers and provide outstanding service. You will handle transactions, assist shoppers, and maintain a clean, organized checkout area while promoting company perks and a positive shopping experience.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with 1–2 years of grocery retail experience preferred and a background in natural foods considered a plus.

Qualifications

• Preferred 1–2 years grocery retail experience in Front End.
• Experience in natural foods is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process customer transactions efficiently at front registers.
• Maintain accurate cash handling and assist customers as needed.
• Greet customers and ensure friendly, energetic service.
• Keep checkout areas clean and organized; manage coupons and rain checks.
• Operate POS system and record prices, tax, and rebates.
• Support team goals and adapt to varying hours/days.
