Fresh Thyme Market is seeking a friendly Cashier who will efficiently process customer purchases and provide excellent service at the front end. You will handle payments, issue receipts, and help keep the checkout area organized while promoting a positive shopping experience.

The role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and prior grocery retail exposure is a plus. Flexible scheduling and weekly pay are part of the benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• Preferred 1–2 years grocery retail experience in Front End or cashier roles.
• Experience in natural foods industry is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Process customer transactions accurately at front end.
• Greet customers and respond to needs with a friendly demeanor.
• Operate cash register, handle payments and issue receipts.
• Maintain clean, organized checkout areas and stock as needed.
• Offer coupons, rain checks, and refunds when appropriate.
• Protect company assets and adhere to procedures.
