Whole Foods Market IP. L.P. is seeking a friendly cashier to support the Customer Service & E-Commerce team at our New Jersey location.

Responsibilities include checking out groceries, assisting customers, and maintaining clean, organized Front End areas. A positive attitude and teamwork are essential to deliver excellent service daily. This entry-level role requires the ability to lift 50 pounds, work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends, and follow all store procedures and safety

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Checks out customer groceries efficiently and accurately.
• Upholds regulations concerning sale of alcoholic beverages and taxation.
• Follows proper check, ATM, and credit procedures.
• Cleans and stocks Front End areas, including own register.
• Follows all cash handling procedures; meets regional cashier variance policy.
• May assist with training of new Cashier and Cashier Assistant Team Members.
• Assists supervisor in controlling customer flow and reducing wait times.
• Provides excellent customer service and addresses needs promptly.
