Job summary

Sauk Rapids-Rice Public Schools in Michigan is seeking a part-time meal service aide for a total of 1.75 hours per day (7:00 a.m. to 8:45 a.m.), Monday through Friday, across 172 contract days. The role supports cooking staff and serves students in the cafeteria.

The position may be combined with another district role and may be pro-rated for part-time hours; a criminal background check is required for employment consideration. Applications reviewed starting September 4, 2026.

WORK HOURS:

1.75 hours per day (7:00 a.m. to 8:45 a.m.), Monday through Friday, for 172 contract days (170 student contact and 2 inservice days). This position maybe combined with other position within the District, but may not exceed 40 hours per week.

JOB DUTIES:

Basic computer skills, ability to work at fast pace, help cook's stock and clean serving lines during lunch.

SALARY and BENEFITS:

Salary based on experience and the 2025-2027 School Support Employees Agreement Level III from $18.52 up to $20.44 per hour. Benefits based on full-time employment and may be pro-rated for part-time positions. Benefits may include the following:
