Job Summary: Operates Point of Sale system, assists the Chef, prepares coffee, and maintains cleanliness of the coffee and cashier stations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Help prepare foods such as meats, vegetables, baked goods, and desserts; assist with catering orders.
• Perform cashier duties using the POS system accurately.
• Perform general cleaning duties; remove trash and garbage to designated areas.
• Provide service in all retail areas, including cashiering and line serving.
• Handle cash transactions according to established procedures, maintain cash accuracy, and make deposits at the end of each shift.
• Inventory and restock supplies and food products.
• Set up the serving line, ensure food temperatures are within acceptable ranges, and notify cooks if not.
• Serve hot and cold items to customers.
• Prepare items for purchase daily.
• Keep refrigerator stocked and rotate products using the first-in, first-out (FIFO) method.
• Stock pantries with correct par levels, record replenishments, and monitor refrigerator temperatures daily.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
