• We are hiring immediately for full-time and part-time CASHIER/FOOD SERVICE WORKER positions.
• Location: McLaren Lapeer Region - 1375 North Main Street, Lapeer, MI 48446. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full-time and part-time; hours vary between 5:00 am to 8:00 pm. More details upon interview.
• Requirements: Prior experience in dishwashing, sweeping, cleaning, running the line, and using the cash register is preferred.
• Pay Rate: $13.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Operates Point of Sale system, assists the Chef, prepares coffee, and maintains cleanliness of coffee and cashier stations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing foods such as meats, vegetables, baked goods, and desserts, including catering orders.
• Perform cashier duties using the POS system accurately.
• Perform cleaning duties and manage trash removal.
• Provide service in retail areas, including cashiering and line serving.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and make deposits at shift end.
• Inventory and restock supplies and food items.
• Set up serving lines, monitor food temperatures, and notify cooks if needed.
• Serve hot and cold items to customers.
• Prepare items for purchase daily and ensure proper stock rotation.
• Record refrigerator temperatures and stock levels.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
