• We are hiring immediately for a full-time and part-time CASHIER/FOOD SERVICE WORKER position.
• Location: Cape Canaveral Hospital - 701 West Cocoa Beach Causeway, Cocoa Beach, FL 32931. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full-time and part-time schedules. Friday to Thursday, 6:00 am to 8:00 pm; more details upon interview.
• Requirements: Previous cash handling, stocking, and cleaning experience are preferred but not required.
• Pay Range: $14.00 to $15.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Operates Point of Sale system, assists the Chef, prepares coffee, and maintains cleanliness of coffee and cashier stations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing foods such as meats, vegetables, baked goods, and desserts; help with catering orders.
• Perform cashier duties using the POS system.
• Conduct general cleaning duties; dispose of trash appropriately.
• Provide service in retail areas, including cashiering and line serving.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, maintain receipts, and make deposits at shift end.
• Inventory and restock supplies and food items.
• Set up serving lines, monitor temperatures, and notify cooks if out of acceptable range.
• Serve hot and cold items to customers.
• Prepare items for purchase daily.
• Maintain refrigerator stock and rotate products using FIFO.
• Stock pantries to par levels daily; record replenishments and refrigerator temperatures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
