• Location: Good Samaritan Hospital - 310 South Limestone, Lexington, KY 40508 Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full-time. Days may vary, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm or 8:00 am - 4:30 pm. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: Food service experience preferred.
• Pay Range: $16.50 to $16.75 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Operates Point of Sale system, assists the Chef, prepares coffee, and maintains cleanliness of coffee and cashier stations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing foods such as meats, vegetables, baked goods, and desserts; support catering orders.
• Perform cashier duties using the POS system accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness by performing general cleaning duties and removing trash.
• Provide service in retail areas, including cashiering and line serving.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, maintain receipts, and make deposits.
• Inventory and restock supplies and food items.
• Set up serving lines, monitor food temperatures, and notify cooks of any issues.
• Serve hot and cold items to customers.
• Prepare items for purchase daily and ensure refrigerator stock and product rotation.
• Record temperature checks and restocking activities.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
