• Location: Edwards Life Sciences - 1462 Alton Parkway, Irvine, CA 92614. Note: online applications accepted only.

Job Summary

Summary: Operates Point of Sale system, assists the Chef, prepares coffee, and maintains the coffee and cashier stations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in food preparation such as meats, vegetables, baked goods, and desserts. Help prepare catering orders.
• Perform cashier duties using the POS system.
• Perform general cleaning; dispose of trash appropriately.
• Provide service in retail areas, including cashiering and line serving.
• Handle cashiering accurately, maintain cash accuracy, and make deposits at shift end.
• Inventory and restock supplies and food products.
• Set up serving line, monitor food temperatures, and notify cooks if needed.
• Serve hot and cold items to customers.
• Prepare items for purchase daily.
• Stock and rotate refrigerator products using FIFO.
• Maintain pantry stock levels, record replenishments, and monitor refrigerator temperatures daily.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
