Job summary

The Morongo Band of Mission Indians is seeking a part-time, non-exempt team member to assist customers, handle cash transactions, and support food demonstration activities. Requires a high school diploma or GED and willingness to obtain a Food Handler Card.

Eligible applicants should have at least one year of fast food, deli, or specialty food store experience, strong customer service, and the ability to stand for extended periods while working weekdays and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum one year of fast food, deli, or specialty food store experience.
• One year cash handling experience or equivalent education/experience.
• Must possess or be willing to obtain a Food Handler Card.
• Good Customer Service.
• Able to stand for long periods.
• Able to work weekdays and weekends with no restrictions.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Receives cash from customers or employees for goods or services.
• Selects, requisitions, and stores merchandise.
• Prepares food for demonstration and sampling.
• Performs duties in support of direct mail effort.
