Job summary

Fairmount Park, Inc. is seeking a friendly Food and Beverage Cashier to deliver efficient, high-quality service to guests. You will learn the restaurant's computer systems, assist customers with purchases, process payments, and operate the POS accurately.

You must be ready to work nights, weekends, and holidays; safety and cleanliness of your workstation are required, with adherence to SOPs and policies. Open positions require 18+ years of age, eligibility for a gaming license, and at least six

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Illinois Gaming Board.
• Must have six months or more related experience.
• Must have open work availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Description:

As the Food and Beverage Cashier, you will provide all of our guests with efficient and great quality food, drinks, and service.

Responsibilities:

• Learn and efficiently operate food and beverage computer systems
• Assist guests with food and beverage purchases, process payments, and operate the point-of-sale system efficiently and accurately
• Set up and organize cashier workstation with designated supplies, forms, and resource materials; and maintain the cleanliness of workstation at all times
• Adhere to all standard operating procedures and company policy
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Illinois Gaming Board
• Must have six months or more related experience

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

• Frequently required to lift up to a maximum of 30 pounds
• Regularly required to see, talk and hear; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms; stand and walk
• Frequently required to stoop, crouch, or kneel
• Ability to interact with others while maintaining a courteous and positive demeanor

Base Pay Range:

$18.00

This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. The base salary will depend on a number of factors such as: qualifications, experience level, and skillset.
