Job summary

TravelCenters of America seeks a diligent cashier to deliver excellent customer service at our travel centers. You will process transactions at a POS, keep the food and beverage area clean, stock merchandise, and assist customers with a positive and efficient attitude.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Basic computer/POS knowledge.
• Cash handling skills preferred.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Process transactions on a POS register and keep the area clean and well-stocked.
• Serve customers courteously, quickly and efficiently.
• Prioritize tasks according to store and management needs.
• Follow safety guidelines and report unsafe situations.
• Establish strong communication with leaders and coworkers.
