Job summary

Wingstop is hiring a cashier to take and fulfill orders, handle payments, and provide excellent guest service at our fast-paced restaurant in Mebane, NC. You will communicate with kitchen staff to ensure orders are accurate and timely, balance cash drawers, and help maintain a clean, friendly dining area.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and effective communication under pressure. Prior cashier or restaurant experience is a plus, and valid food handler certification is required.

Qualifications

• Cashier experience is a plus.
• Food Handler Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers; take orders in-person and over the phone.
• Process payments (cash, card, gift card) accurately.
• Upsell and maintain knowledge of menu items and promotions.
• Balance cash drawer at end of shift; report any discrepancies.
• Maintain cleanliness of Front of House and assist kitchen staff as needed.
• Handle customer complaints or escalate to management when necessary.
