Job summary

Aramark is seeking a dedicated Cashier to join our team. You will be responsible for processing transactions, balancing cash, and delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have prior cash handling and customer service experience, strong math skills, and the ability to work independently. Training may include Food Handler and Alcohol Service as required by location.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Previous cash handling experience preferred.
• Basic math and counting skills required.
• Must be able to work independently with limited supervision.
• Complete Food Handler and Alcohol Service trainings as required by location.

Responsibilities

• Operate a register/POS and handle cash/credit card transactions.
• Greet and assist customers while anticipating their needs.
• Balance cash drawer, fill cashier slip, and make deposits as needed.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and procedures.
• Know merchandise to assist customers and process transactions accurately.
• Complete opening/closing procedures as assigned.
