Job summary

Aramark is seeking a cashier who enjoys greeting guests and solving problems while handling transactions accurately on a POS system. You will balance cash and provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes teamwork, operational accuracy, and flexibility in daily duties with safety and compliance as a priority. Training may be location based and ongoing as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service is preferred.
• Experience handling cash is preferred.
• Basic math and counting skills are required.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Food Handler and Alcohol Service trainings as required by location.

Responsibilities

• Operate a register/POS accurately and handle cash and credit card transactions.
• Greet and assist customers while anticipating their needs.
• Balance cash drawer and complete cashier paperwork.
• Follow Aramark cash handling policies and procedures.
• Know product details to assist customers and process transactions.
• Open and close procedures as assigned for the unit.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment during and after service.
• Ensure merchandize is stocked and replenish items as needed.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
