Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a part-time cashier in New Jersey to ensure customers exit with a positive experience. You’ll handle payments, assist at the register, and help customers find the best value while delivering quick and friendly service.

Responsibilities include scanning and bagging, answering questions, and maintaining a clean workspace. Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred, with bilingual skills a plus.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic.
• Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
• Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
• Minimally lift 10lbs unassisted or over 15lbs with or without accommodation
• Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by law in your state

Responsibilities

• Deliver a fast, friendly, and professional checkout experience.
• Proactively assist customers in the self-checkout area.
• Scan and bag items accurately and efficiently.
• Manage a cash register, payments, and exchanges.
• Answer customer questions.
• Help maintain a clean, safe workstation.
• Complete other duties as assigned
