Most duties occur at the register, with potential to assist other departments, stock shelves, or move carts as needed. The role requires strong math and communication skills and the ability to stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing, and basic arithmetic ability.
• Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods.
• Experience using a computer for transactions and recordkeeping.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds with assistance.
• Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by law in your state.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a fast, friendly, and professional checkout experience.
• Proactively assist customers in the self-checkout area.
• Scan and bag items accurately and efficiently.
