Job summary

Ace Retail Group, a division of Ace Hardware Corporation, is seeking a friendly Cashier to handle register transactions and returns while delivering strong customer service.

You will greet customers, assist with product location, balance the drawer, and follow store procedures. Pay ranges from $15 to $17 per hour, based on experience, with opportunities to grow within the retail network.

Qualifications

• High School or GED equivalent.
• Cashier experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Standing, walking, lifting (up to 25lbs) and climbing.

Responsibilities

• The Cashier is responsible for register transactions involving the sale and/or return of merchandise.
• Follow all cash register transaction procedures.
• Responsible for balancing of register drawer.
• Adhere to any Store Support Center program or promotion that may require implementation at the cash registers.
• Participate in store and Cashier meetings.
• Keep the front end neat and clean, stock and face impulse counters as seasons change.
