Job summary

Restaurant City Sarasota, FL is seeking a friendly front counter associate to greet customers, guide them to products, and assist with checkout in a fast-paced showroom. This full-time or part-time position starts at $20.00 per hour, with a weekday schedule and bi-weekly pay; health insurance, paid time off, and holidays are included, with growth opportunities for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

Restaurant City is a restaurant equipment and supply company serving chefs, restaurant owners, caterers, and food trucks across the Sarasota area. Our showroom is busy, hands-on, and never boring — you\'ll help a food truck owner find a fryer in the morning and check out a chef restocking smallwares ahead of the weekend rush in the afternoon.

We\'re looking for a friendly, detail-oriented person to assist customers at our front counter, along with maintaining a clean, organized showroom to highlight our products. If you like a fast-paced environment, take pride in a well-kept showroom, and want a steady weekday schedule with real growth potential, we want to talk to you.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

What You'll Do

• Greet customers at the front counter and direct them to the right product or salesperson
• Run the register and walk customers through checkout
• Enter transactions accurately in our Point of Sale and payment processing systems
• Stock shelves and keep the showroom clean, organized, and well-presented
• Update price tags and product signage
• Communicate quickly with team members and management to resolve customer issues
