Job summary

Big-Deal-Outlets is seeking a proactive Cashier to manage payments, issue receipts, and balance daily cash and credit transactions. You will help train and support fellow cashiers while interacting with customers to meet their needs.

The role includes stocking and light cleaning to maintain a welcoming store floor, with occasional heavy lifting up to 50 lbs. The ideal candidate has a customer-focused attitude, basic computer skills, and a dependable work ethic.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Open and close procedures for store shift.
• Lead, train, and support cashiers to ensure good service.
• Receive payments and issue receipts.
• Balance cash and credit transactions at end of shift.
• Interact with customers to understand needs and answer questions.
• Assist with stocking merchandise and organizing products on the sales floor.
• Perform general cleaning tasks to maintain a neat store environment.
• Lift and move items up to 50 lbs as needed.
