Job summary

Bass Pro Shops in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a part-time Cashier to operate the POS, assist customers, and ensure accurate cash handling. You will greet customers, answer questions, and promote programs such as CLUB Membership while delivering friendly, efficient service.

Responsibilities include processing transactions, maintaining merchandise presentation, and supporting a positive shopping experience in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum Degree Required: High School education or equivalent experience.
• Ability to calculate discounts and make change.
• Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to customers and associates.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Management, coworkers and customers.
• Ability to operate a computerized Point of Sale register system.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge customers in a prompt and friendly manner.
• Ring up purchases and handle transactions accurately.
• Provide product information and recommendations based on customer needs.
• Promote programs such as CLUB Membership and In-Store Pick-up.
• Maintain stock and organization in the immediate area when not ringing up sales.
