Job summary

Most time is at the register, with potential to assist other departments, stock shelves, or move carts as needed. Prior retail or customer service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing, and basic arithmetic proficiency.
• Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
• Experience using a computer for input/output of information.
• Lift up to 15 lbs with or without accommodation; 75 pounds with team lifting as needed.
• Sales-related licensure or registration if required by law in your state.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a fast, friendly, and professional checkout experience.
• Proactively assist customers in the self-checkout area.
• Scan and bag items accurately and efficiently.
• Manage a cash register, payments, and exchanges.
• Answer customer questions and maintain a clean, safe workstation.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
