Job summary

Lowe’s is seeking a friendly cashier to provide quick, helpful service at the register and help customers maximize value. You will support payments and exchanges while ensuring customers leave satisfied and with a positive shopping experience.

This part-time, on-site role may also involve assisting with other duties, stocking shelves, or helping in other departments as needed. Training and bilingual opportunities are available to grow with the team.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic.
• Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
• Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
• Minimally lift 10lbs unassisted or over 15lbs with or without accommodation.
• Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by law in your state.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a fast, friendly, and professional checkout experience
• Proactively assist customers in the self-checkout area
• Scan and bag items accurately and efficiently
