Job summary

Greek Brothers seeks a friendly Cashier / Counter & Waitstaff Team Member to be the face of the restaurant. You will greet guests, take orders, process payments, and deliver food with hospitality, ensuring a smooth dining experience from entry to exit.

You will work closely with the kitchen and management, juggling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a clean, welcoming dining room and providing excellent guest service.

Qualifications

• Experience in restaurant or customer service is a plus, but training is provided.
• Positive, energetic attitude and genuine hospitality.
• Ability to multitask and stay calm in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork mindset.
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.

The Role

We are seeking a versatile and friendly Cashier / Counter & Waitstaff Team Member to be the face of Greek Brothers. In this dynamic role, you will be interacting directly with our guests, ensuring their dining experience is smooth, enjoyable, and distinctly hospitable from the moment they walk in the door.

Key Responsibilities

• Warm Welcomes: Greet every guest with a friendly and positive attitude as they enter the restaurant.
• Order Management: Accurately take customer orders at the counter or tableside, answer questions about the menu, and offer thoughtful recommendations.
• Transaction Processing: Operate the POS system to process cash and credit card payments efficiently and accurately.
• Food Service: Run food and beverages to tables, ensuring all items meet our high culinary standards before they reach the guest.
• Dining Room Maintenance: Keep the counter, dining area, and restrooms clean, sanitized, and fully stocked throughout the shift.
• To-Go Orders: Package takeout and delivery orders accurately, double-checking for all requested items and condiments.
• Team Support: Collaborate seamlessly with the kitchen and management to ensure fast, high-quality service during peak hours.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a restaurant, customer service, or cashier role is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person!
• A positive, energetic attitude and a genuine passion for hospitality.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a team-first mindset.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including [weekends, evenings, and holidays].
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs as needed.
